Accommodation
July is a very popular time to go to Amalfi and we highly recommend booking your accommodation at least as soon as possible, but ideally 10-12 months in advance.
Our wedding ceremony will be held at the magnificent Duomo di Sant'Andrea, and our reception will follow at NH Grand Convento di Amalfi.
If you are staying in central Amalfi, you can easily walk to The Duomo. Transport will be arranged from the Duomo to Convento di Amalfi. Please be aware, although it is only a 500m distance, there are no footpaths and the walk can be dangerous.
Amalfi is the home of our wedding and the birthplace of Limoncello! There is a variety of accommodation options here, ranging from luxury, to affordable and quaint.
NH Grand Convento di Amalfi has also kindly offered our guests a discount on their stay. Please contact the hotel directly and quote xxxx
We do not recommend attempting to walk home from the reception. There are no footpaths along the road connecting the reception venue and Amalfi.
Hotels are quite expensive in Amalfi, but if you book ahead of time there are some options which we'd recommend. We have provided links from Hotelscombined.com, please make an account to enjoy additional discounts and free inclusion when booking through them.
If you wish to stay in the heart of Amalfi town, Albergo L'Antico Convitto is a beautiful, well-priced option.
Miramalfi Hotel is a little further out, and you'll need to get a car into Amalfi but here you'll get a private beach and beautiful views.
Hotel Marina Riveria is located in Amalfi town, with a rooftop terrace and pool. And a Turkish bath, just in case.
Finally, the beautiful Santa Caterina Amalfi- a truly unique place, with a beach bar, private beach access and unique decor.
If you are travelling with a bigger group, or wanting something different to a hotel expeirence, an AirBnB may be a good option for you. We love the below villas and larger style apartments, all located in Amalfi.
Please also note, AirBnB is open for bookings now, unlike some hotels which only allow you to book 12 months in advance. Booking as early as possible is very important in Amalfi, so please consider using AirBnB for your stay.
BluOltreMare is close to the Cathedral of Amalfi and minutes walk to grocery stores, fishmongers, bars and restaurants.
Floria House comprised of 2 bedrooms and a beautiful terrace overlooking Amalfi.
Via Paradiso is perfect for a family, with two bedrooms and a separate living room. There are some stairs, but the host can take your luggage up for you.
Residenza Piccolomini Newly renovated, central apartment suitable for a couple.
La Terazza sleeps 5 people, located in the heart of Amalfi. The apartment has a beautiful terrace overlooking Amalfi.
Casa Anna is ideal for a couple, and is located in the historical centre of Amalfi very close shops, bars, restaurants and beaches.
House in the Rock is one of our favorite finds, located near the beautiful Duomo. Sleeps 6 across 2 bedrooms.
4 Passi The apartment is suitable for a couple, and is located in the main square.
Casa Maria is located about 150m from the Duomo and the beach. Suitable for a couple with kids, it also has an alfresco area to enjoy a vino at night overlooking Amalfi.
2 Bedroom Apartment, with typical Mediterranean styling located in the center of Amalfi a few steps from the sea. Suitable for 4 people.
The most central apartment ever, literally has a view of the Duomo from your window. Very light and airy this place is suitable for 2-4 people. Ideal for those not wanting to take any stairs
Apartamento Annalia B probably has the best terrace and views yet. 2 bedrooms, located on the second floor, accessible by 80 steps.
