What to wear (ideas):
• Suits or tuxedos (any color) with a button-up shirt; tie/bow tie optional.
• Formal dresses or elevated jumpsuits, midi to floor-length, with refined silhouettes (nothing “night-out” or club-style).

Fabrics (the feel we’re going for):
• Great: silk, satin/charmeuse, crepe, chiffon, velvet, lace, jacquard, brocade, taffeta, faille, organza, beading/embellishment.
• Suits: wool, mohair, or structured linen (linen is welcome when tailored and polished).
• Skip: casual knits/jersey, chino, twill, denim.

Patterns (yes, with taste):
• Choose muted/tonal or refined prints—subtle florals, jacquard/brocade motifs, metallic thread, velvet burnout.
• Avoid anything that reads daytime/sundress (ditzy florals, bold stripes, gingham, tropicals).
