Historic Camp Hale lies within the Pando Valley, surrounded by the White River National Forest located fifteen miles from Vail, Colorado (~35 minute drive). Once home to 15,000+ American Soldiers, Camp Hale is the former training grounds for the 10th Mountain Army Division who later initiated the Colorado Ski Industry, including Vail Mountain.
Roundtrip shuttle service from Vail Marriott to Camp Hale will be available for all wedding guests. Shuttles will run continuously from 3pm until midnight.
Our outdoor waterfront ceremony will offer beautiful views of the surrounding valley. Blankets and umbrellas will be available at the ceremony, if needed.
Our reception will be in a heated tent, which is a short walk from the ceremony site.
Please note that there is ZERO cell service at Camp Hale. There is a landline available for use in case of emergency.

Fall in the mountains can be unpredictable with evening temperatures dropping into the 40s. Comfortable shoes and an extra layer are encouraged. Blankets and umbrellas will be available at the ceremony, if needed.
