Our Family Grew to Three
A London Proposal

James created a truly royal proposal, fit for a fairytale. After long covid years and multiple trips cancelled. We found a flight deal to London. Without hesitation, we packed our bags, almost missed our flight dropping off the pup with the grandparents (this is important for later), we made it just in time to jet off across the Atlantic.  We were having the absolute blast seeing the sights, drinking the pornstar martinis, and never sleeping. One day after brunch, James wanted to go "see Buckingham palace", he took me through St. James Park on the way. It was a perfect day, swans swimming in the lake, blue sky, our outfits were on point, literally quite perfect and then there was this beautiful blue bridge. Perfect spot for a proposal. James got down on one knee, I said Yes, OF COURSE! James had one last surprise left. He told me to turn around and waiting behind me were my MOM, DAD, AND SISTER! They had flown the red eye to be there for the special day. It is pretty obvious, I was crying at this point. He knew how important family is to me and pulled strings to make my dreams come true. Once the tears were drying up I realized... where's the dog...then learned the whole missing the flight to drop off the pup was just a ruse to throw me off, and it worked, we were pretty late. The rest of the day was a complete daze, we saw things, walked everywhere but all I remember was being so happy and completely in our own little world. James was so confident, he just strutted around the city all day, it was a sight to be seen. All in all, our proposal was pretty amazing and James is beyond words incredible. Im pretty lucky.
