TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATIONS
Mayakoba is located in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The nearest airport is Cancun (CUN), which is less than an hour's drive away. There are multiple airlines that fly direct to Cancun. Remember to make sure your passport is valid for at least six months past the travel date!
Our wedding events will be held at Rosewood Mayakoba. The Rosewood is one of 4 hotels in Mayakoba, a gated property in Riviera Maya (please see below for different hotel options and price points).
We have special room rates at the Rosewood starting at $970 USD per night (excluding taxes and fees of roughly 29%). Please note - we have a limited quantity available so we suggest booking ASAP if you plan to stay there.

The current online rates at the Andaz and Fairmont are $450 and $490/night, respectively. January in Mexico is high season so if you are planning to book there, we recommend doing so ASAP. They should have cancellation policies up to 30 days prior to arrival should anything change.
Mayakoba is 15 minutes from Playa Del Carmen, 45 minutes from Cancun and an hour from Tulum. There are MANY hotel options should you wish to stay nearby but not within Mayakoba.
Please note that since Mayakoba is gated with security, guests are only able to access it if they are on the list for events. If you choose to stay outside of Mayakoba, please let us know so that we can ensure you're on the list for our wedding festivities!
To make sure your transportation from the airport goes smoothly, we have hired the transportation/concierge firm “Your Cancun DMC” to do our group transfers and pick you up from the airport and take you directly to Rosewood (if staying at another property, make sure to write the info on the form).
We kindly ask you to please send the following information to Alex (our main contact) at Your Cancun DMC, and once all the information is collected, she will revert back with your price totals, pick up times and further details.
Transportation will be private for the event but may be shared with other wedding guests. If you want your service to be exclusive, please make sure to let Alex know so she can make arrangements accordingly.
