Wedding Venue
Perched 2,000 feet above the city of Hyderabad is Taj Falaknuma Palace, a jewel amongst the clouds. Built in 1894, it is the former palace of the Nizam, rumored to be the richest man in the world at one time. Overlooking the twinkling City of Pearls, this enchanting palace exudes romance and grandeur that take one back to when the Nizam ruled Hyderabad. From frolicking peacocks to endless old world charm, we can't wait to experience this special occasion with you at our dream venue.
You can fly directly into Hyderabad via Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. If you are spending time in other cities you may want to fly in and out of Bombay or Delhi instead.
Please share your itinerary with us when you book flights.

You're welcome to wear Indian or Western clothing to any of our events. The most important thing is that you're comfortable enough to dance the night away! If you would like to wear Indian clothing but don't know where to start, here are a few of our favorite online stores that ship to the US and Europe:
Check out the Charminar—a massive, iconic gateway (built: 1591), which opens out into all four directions. Inside is a madrasa and a mosque, and the roof offers stunning views, but access is currently prohibited. Next, visit the Chowmahalla Palace, which was built in 1869 along the lines of the Tehran palace of the Shah of Iran. At this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can see evidence of its original grandeur and Persian influences—two painstakingly restored courtyards, fountains, gardens, palaces and the opulent Khilwat (or Durbar Hall), which was the seat of the Nizam’s power. The Chowmahalla Palace is at the centre of the city’s cultural happenings and regularly hosts art shows and book readings. The Birla Temple is an intricately carved structure made entirely of white marble sourced from Rajasthan and overlooks the beautiful Hussain Sagar Lake. Spectacularly lit every evening, the temple offers stunning views of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The Buddha Statue in the middle of tranquil lake is the world’s largest monolithic statue to be carved completely from a single block of white granite. The boat ride to reach the statue makes for a wonderful Hyderabadi experience.
Welcome to India. Please let us know if you need help planning your itinerary.
The most popular tour is known as The Golden Triangle, consisting of the following three locations:
New Delhi is a bustling metropolis that incorporates the ancient with the modern. Amidst the skyscrapers, the monuments stand as a silent reminder to India's legacy. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1592-1666) built the walled city of Delhi on the banks of holy River Yamuna. The city has enchanting bazaars, colorful shrines, fine dining, and the best shopping.
Agra - Truly a wonder of the world, the Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz. It took over 22 years and 20,000 men to build.
Jaipur - This city is also called the "pink city" due to the pink-colored buildings and avenues. Visit the many eAmber Fort where you'll see magnificent palaces and halls covered with mirrored mosaics and artwork. While in Jaipur, you can also view the beautiful City Palace, Hawa Mahal-, or Jantar Mantar, a stunning medieval solar observatory.
We would recommend at least five days for all three cities, but if you have less time, don't worry! You can still do a combination of the above and get the beautiful highlights of India.
