Norman and Kamille met during move-in day at UC Berkeley and found out that they were in the same kindergarten class at South Hills elementary school! They instantly, became best friends and eventually roommates! While living with Kamille in college, Norman learned that sitting on Kamille's bed with jeans is a no-no and that she eats corn with every meal.
From Norman: "What I'm most excited about for the wedding is to see Kamille and Isaac’s dance moves; I'm not sure who can throw it back the best!"
Kamille and Micah are cousins! Their birthdays are only 2 weeks apart, so they've basically known each other since birth. They grew up together, spending some summers at Mountain Lakes or hanging out at the Cerritos mall. Micah doesn't have a specific memory with Kamille, but what she does know is that whenever they get together they're laughing so hard Kamille ends up having the hiccups.
From Micah: "I'm honored to be a part of the bridal party and I'm looking forward to sharing this special day with Mille and Isaac!"
Krystle met Kamille in their 7th grade decisions class; they have made many hilarious decisions together ever since. Krystle’s favorite memories with Kamille mostly consist of food accidents that have transpired over the years. Rather than crying over spilt champurrado,
From Krystle: "I've always admired Kamille’s ability to find joy, humor, and goodness in every situation. And I am especially looking forward to witnessing Kamille walk down the aisle in the motherland, surrounded by the spirit of her loved ones."
La Keishia and Kamille go way back, all the way to “Decisions” class in 7th grade! Although Kamille doesn’t remember this first class together, La Keishia was there and has been ever since, rooting Kamille on and watching her grow and develop into the exceptional woman, friend and daughter she is!
La Keishia’s favorite experiences with Kamille are every time they’re together. Whether it be to have dinner and movies at home on the couch, or when support and encouragement are given to one another at times when they’re striving to be more and to give more to others.
From La Keishia: "My favorite parts of a wedding are the cake and dancing! But for Kamille’s wedding, I'm looking forward to witnessing the love of Kamille and Isaac being committed to one another and experiencing the joy and happiness of the occasion!"
Kamille and Emily have known each other since the 3rd grade. Throughout their adolescent years, they bonded over a love of sports, dancing, school leadership, and all the food! Fun fact, they have reprised roles as actors in a silent film skit on two separate occasions for school functions. From high school days driving in the urban suburban listening to love songs on the coast to college years, and starting careers as adults, Kamille and Emily have always supported each other through the big and little moments in life.
From Emily: "I'm honored to support Kamille as she embarks on this next chapter."
Cameron can't pinpoint exactly when he met Isaac, but his first memory goes back to when they were 6 years old and Isaac tried convincing their class that he was an elf just visiting from the North Pole for the year. Over the past 20+ years Isaac has been one of Cameron's closest friends.
From Cameron: "Isaac is someone that I am truly thankful to have in my life. I have seen how happy he is when he is with Kamille and I can't wait to be a part of their wedding."
Isaac and Ryan became friends through small talk over donuts at church, then talking business, then becoming fraternal brothers. From bible study, to church events, to work functions, client appointments together and just hanging out some of the funniest memories they have together are the stretches of time when they would count how many days in a row they saw each other.
From Ryan: "The biggest smile I’ve ever seen on Isaac's face, besides talking about his first dates with Kamille of course, was the time our 6 year old daughter Rowan promoted him from “Mr. Taylor” to “Tito Isaac”. It’s been a blessing have Isaac a friend and a brother and be able to trust and respect him on such a deep level. I’m excited to relax with some of my closest friends and have a good time on the beach!"
Michael met Isaac when he was 8 years old. Around that time Isaac told Michael that "he didn’t like girls because they had cooties." Michael took great delight in informing Isaac that one day he was going to want those cooties. They've been great friends ever since.
From Michael: "I am excited to be at the wedding as Isaac and Kamille embark on their life together cooties and all."
Daniel and Isaac met at the gym (in the steam room to be exact). One of Daniel's top memories was taking Isaac flying for the first time.
From Daniel: "He took the controls and did an incredible job for his first time piloting an aircraft. I’m excited to share this special day with Isaac and Kamille. Jen and I are already day dreaming about Palawan!!!!"
Tim and Isaac met through Freemasonry.
From Tim: "Isaac has not only been a friend to me, but a leader, mentor and a big brother. Always having my back and being there when I've needed him the most. He is the prime example of what any human being should be. I am most excited to stand beside him and be a part of one of his biggest moments in life."
