Accommodations

Villas

One of the greatest features of Spain (other than the pink-washed walls and coastal cuisine) is that you are not limited to staying in a hotel. In Spain, the veteran move is to rent villas to share with close family and/or friends.

Things to know when booking your stay:

Justin and I, with our families, are staying in a region called "Neuvo Andalucia". It is near Puerto Banus and close to all the shops, restaurants, and markets. It is a 60 minute drive from the airport and a 30 minute drive from the wedding venue.

The Welcome Party will be held at our villa the Wednesday before the wedding.

Villas can accommodate as little as 4 people up to 20+ people. There are also nice townhomes and apartments that can accommodate smaller groups.

Here is an example of a villa in the Puerto Banus area: www.spain-holiday.com/3265.

Transportation

  1. Shuttles from Malaga airport to Marbella: www.welcomepickups.com/malaga/airport-transfer-to-marbella/
  2. Car rentals: https://www.carrentals.com
  3. Uber or Taxi
If you don't have plans to stray from Marbella, it may be more cost-effective to use an uber or taxi throughout your stay rather than renting a car.
