REHEARSAL DINNER

The Rehearsal Dinner will be open to only wedding party and family. We invite all guests for welcome drinks immediately following the Rehearsal Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton's Rattlesnake Bar.

REHEARSAL DINNER ATTIRE

We ask that guests come dressed in their western best! We hope you express whatever level of western flair you feel comfortable in! Boots, cowboy hats, bolo ties, fringe, turquoise jewelry and wranglers are all highly suggested!

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM EDDIE DEEN'S RANCH

For guests attending the Rehearsal Dinner, but not going to the wedding rehearsal at the church, a complimentary bus will leave the Ritz Carlton with guests at 6PM, pick up guests at the Fairmont Hotel, and head to Eddie Deen's Ranch. Please meet in the lobby of both hotels.

The bus will take guests back to both hotels after the Rehearsal Dinner.

WEDDING CEREMONY

The wedding ceremony will be held in the Sanctuary of Highland Park United Methodist Church and will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.  The Sanctuary is at the corner of Mockingbird Lane and Abbott Avenue.

With respect, we would like our special day to be an adults only occasion.

ATTIRE FOR THE EVENING

The dress code for the evening is black tie. Black tie is a dress code reserved for formal evening events. Guests commonly choose floor-length gowns and dark suits or tuxedos when attending a black tie event.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE WEDDING CEREMONY

BUS TO THE CHURCH

We are offering a shuttle bus to the church for the wedding ceremony. Buses will depart from the Ritz-Carlton and Fairmont hotels promptly at 6:20 PM to head to Highland Park United Methodist Church.

BUS FROM THE CHURCH TO THE RITZ-CARLTON

Following the conclusion of the ceremony, we urge guests to use Uber/Lyft services or take the shuttle bus from the church to the Ritz-Carlton for the reception. The buses are available to all guests. They will be outside the Sanctuary doors at the corner of Mockingbird Lane and Abbott Avenue and will depart for the Ritz-Carlton approximately at 7:40 PM.

VALET AT THE RITZ-CARLTON

If you do plan to drive and valet at the Ritz-Carlton, please use the private complimentary valet located on Pearl Street.

COCKTAIL HOUR

Upon arrival to the Ritz-Carlton, guests will be directed to the foyer of the ballroom for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Coat check will be available. Doors to the reception will open at 8:45 PM.

The Reception

Doors to the ballroom will open at 8:45 PM. Dinner and dancing will follow. Please note that while hors d’oeuvres will be passed during the 7:45-8:45 PM cocktail hour, a full course dinner will not be served until 9:00 PM. Please plan accordingly.

BRIDE AND GROOM SEND OFF

The send off for the bride and groom will take place at 12:45 AM. For those staying at the Fairmont, a bus will depart at 1:00 AM from the Ritz-Carlton to drop off guests. If you need to leave earlier or want to stay for a night cap at the Ritz's Rattlesnake Bar, which closes at 2:00 AM, we urge the use of Uber/Lyft services.

We want you to know that we are following the case count closely and will be following all State Guidelines and policies for all venues to ensure our wedding weekend is as safe as possible for all guests.  In addition, we will be taking the following covid-19 precautions with the wedding weekend.

• At all wedding venue locations, we will be at or below 25% of occupancy. The church will have plenty of room to sit socially distanced. The Ritz and rehearsal dinner venues will set all tables at least six feet apart.
• Buses to and from events will be capacity limited.
• Per State Guidelines, but to reiterate, the staff at all venues will be required to wear masks at all times. Guests will be asked to wear masks at the church.
• Everyone will receive individual hand sanitizers and hand sanitizer will be placed on the bars.
• All passed drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be covered during cocktail hour. Dinner is a sit- down dinner that will be served by an attendant wearing a mask.

Lastly, we strongly urge all guests to get tested for Covid-19 prior to their arrival into Dallas or before the first wedding event they plan to attend. We are trusting anyone that tests positive to notify us immediately. PCR tests are typically taking 24-48 hours to obtain results and should be covered by your insurance. In addition, we will be providing free Covid-19 rapid testing at the Fairmont and the Ritz hotels on both Friday, January 15th and Saturday, January 16th as a secondary screening option.
An exact schedule on time and location is forthcoming and will be posted here and sent via e- mail closer to the wedding date. Both in town and out of town guests are encouraged to take the rapid test as a precaution. We also do understand that rapid testing is currently not the gold standard of testing and false positives have occurred. If you do test positive at the Ritz or Fairmont, you will be allowed to take two more subsequent tests, but both must be negative. We strongly encourage everyone to participate in some form of Covid-19 testing prior to the wedding as it is so important to keeping you and others safe during these uncertain times
