How to reach Island of Hvar
Dear friends traveling from abroad,
in order to reach island of Hvar we suggest you to fly to Split. Easyjet operates direct flights from many destinations including Geneva.
Once you land in airport in Split you should head to the port of Split ("trajektna luka" in Croatian). If you are lucky, the official airport bus "pleso" will be outside and waiting for you to hop on.The bus operates every 30mins and will take you directly to the port of Split. You may purchase a ticket online https://plesoprijevoz.hr/en/start/ or once you get onboard.
If you are less lucky, we advise you to order an uber or call Cammeo taxi +381 21 313 313.
Taxis that you may find outside are more expensive than other taxis, but still affordable. The ride should not be more than 250 kunas, approximately 30€. However, be ready to use your negotiation skills!
