Yes! This is a family friendly wedding and all kiddos are encouraged to come. If you would prefer to travel adults only, that is welcome as well. The Excellence Club is an adults only section of the resort with amenities including adults only room blocks, pools, beach access, and restaurants.
Our dream is to have a wedding with the people we love and have supported us throughout our lives and relationship. All invitees will be addressed on save the dates, invitations, and in the RSVP portion of our site.

Resort Policy: All wedding guests must stay at the resort.
In order to participate in any, or all of the wedding events, guests must stay at the resort. Please plan to be at the resort for a minimum of one night (Monday, June 6th, 2022). In order to be a part of our room block, you must stay a minimum of three nights at the Finest Resort.
We'd love for you to stay and celebrate the long weekend with us, but ultimately you can choose how short or long your stay will be at Finest Playa Mujeres. The travel section has the link and details for booking your room at Finest Playa Mujeres.

Liz and Josh will be staying at the resort Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 until Thursday, June 9th, 2022.
We highly recommend taking the earliest flight as possible to enjoy more time at the resort. Suggested Arrival Dates: Friday, June 3rd 2022 or Saturday, June 4th 2022. Suggested Departure Dates: Tuesday, June 7th 2022 or later.
Reminder: Wedding is on Monday June 6th.
Liz and Josh will be at the resort Thursday 06/02 - Thursday 06/09. We would love for you to spend as little or as much time as you would like, see "WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE RESORT" for recommended dates.
If you arrive before check-in time, you can use all the amenities (pool, restaurants, activities, etc.). Pack a small bag with swimwear and other necessities to utilize the resort while you wait for your room to be ready.

As soon as you know you'll be joining us, please place the required deposit on your room accommodations.
COVID has caused so many couples to reschedule or postpone their weddings to 2022, so there will be other wedding parties there the same weekend (none as awesome as ours!). We want to make sure everyone gets the room that they want!
To help elevate this, we locked a set price for everyone with our destination wedding travel planner, Carita Coughlin. Carita is really great and quick to respond to any travel questions you have. If you see a room on the Finest's website that is not on our booking link, send her an email and she will do her best to secure it for you.

Food: All Meals, Snacks, Beverages and Alcohol. There are 15 restaurants, 1 Coffee/Dessert Bar, 11 Bars, 3 Private Bars/Clubs, and Room Service! You will also find a minibar and an assortment of 750 mL bottles of liquor in your room, which is restocked daily.
Round Trip Airport Transportation: Our travel agent, Carita, will arrange your ride to and from Cancun Airport. Please update her with your flight information as soon as you book it.

Please Note: Spa treatments and motorized water sports (jet skis and boating) are available for an additional fee. However, there is a 10% discount at One Spa for being part of our group!
WITH TRAVEL INSURANCE
You may cancel any time before your scheduled departure date for a full refund, minus the cost of your travel insurance. The price of the travel insurance is based on the cost of your room.
WITHOUT TRIP INSURANCE
If you cancel before March 1st, 2022, you will be refunded what you have paid so far per the payment plan, minus your deposit. If you cancel after March 1st, 2022, which is the day your final payment is due, then you will forfeit all money paid towards your stay.
Your passport must be valid 6 months from return date (December 2022) .
Every guest must have a valid passport. You will need this to board your flight and the resort will ask for it when you check in. Please click the link below to apply or renew.
NOTE: There is a delay in processing passport applications right now because of COVID so we would suggest applying/renewing ASAP.
We'll call the wedding dress code: Semi Formal or Beach Formal.

NOTE: We'll have a beach ceremony, so choose shoes that you'd like to wear in the sand or are easy to remove. Reception will be on a hard surface, so bring your dancing shoes or heels!
Weather apps often have misleading information due to the tropical climate. Though the forecast may say rain, it could possibly last only a small portion of the day.
Average temperatures in June are Daytime Highs around 90 and Evening Lows around 77.
The rain won't stop the party! Our outdoor ceremony and reception will be moved indoors.

Tipping Money: though the resort is "all inclusive" make sure to pack $1 & $5 bills to tip the staff.
Restaurants at the resort have dress codes. Please visit the link below and select a restaurant for dress code details.
Basically, men are required to wear pants, closed toe shoes, and collared shirts for dinner (jeans and polo shirts are OK).
Remember your stay is all inclusive- along with all meals and drinks, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Non-Motorized Water Activities, Cooking & Spanish classes are included in your stay at Finest Playa Mujeres. See all included activities in the link below.
Chichen Itza and Tulum Ruins are also two gorgeous sites to see! Please keep in mind that they are each a 3 hour drive one way (opposite directions) from the hotel.
