Anytime between 5:00pm on Friday and 5:29pm on Saturday.
What will the weather be like?
Right now weather projections say highs around 70 and lows around 50 with a chance of rain so plan accordingly.
Can I stay at the camp?
Yes, and at no cost to you. The camp has many shared cabins with 4-6 single beds in each. There are two communal bathrooms (one in the "boys camp" and one in the "girls camp") with several stalls for the showers, etc. Nothing fancy, but you'll be just steps away from all the activities.
Should I bring linens or a sleeping bag if I'm staying at camp?
Yes, but we are told that the camp will rent linens to the people who can't bring them. A pillow, sheet and blanket for $10 a set. But everyone should bring their own towel
Will there be child care available for the weekend?
Yes we will have a babysitter on site during the ceremony and reception. If you have questions about this shoot us an email.
Is there cell phone reception or WIFI at camp?
There is no cell phone reception at camp. But, we're told that we can get WIFI in the dining hall, so people can email or use their phones. There is also a landline at camp people can call to reach you in emergencies 802.485.5400
What should I wear?
Proper attire for a wedding in the woods
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Avoid high heels, unless you are skilled at uneven terrain. There is a chance of rain so it may get muddy so good to bring an option that can work in the mud too.
Are there other places to stay close to camp?
There are air bnbs about 15-20 minutes away (the towns of Warren and Northfield seem like your best bet). Montpelier and Waitsfield are both 25 minutes from camp, and you can find hotels there.
Will meals be offered during the day?
Yes. We will have a casual breakfast and lunch on Saturday for anyone who wants it as well as Friday night dinner and Sunday morning breakfast.
Where should I park?
There's lots of parking on site at camp. We'll have signs, or someone to direct you
Is there anywhere to swim at camp?
No, but there is a lake 15 minutes away (if it's not too cold).
