Jordyn & Alan

Jordyn and Alan's love story began in 2009 when they were both still in high school in Aventura, Florida. They went to neighboring schools and lived less than a mile away from each other. They first met at a house party, Alan wearing his popped collar Abercrombie shirt and Jordyn with her crop top and cute little bangs. And while their relationship didn’t exactly begin until 2 years later when they would both be attending University of Florida, it was clear from that night on that these two love birds were destined to end up together.

In Gainesville their relationship truly flourished and they grew closer and closer together. I mean if they were able to survive living in a fraternity house together, there was very little that could bring these two apart.

In 2013, Alan graduated and took a job in Tampa while Jordyn finished up her degree at UF. Two years later, Alan was prospering in his young finance career, and Jordyn couldn’t give up the opportunity to work for Royal Caribbean back in Miami. It was clear at this point, they had really mastered the art of the long-distance relationship!

By 2017, Alan was ready for the next move in his career and despite some fond memories in Tampa, was more than ready to come back to Miami and live in the same zip code as Jordyn! So Brickell became Jordyn and Alan’s new home as they were once again living in the same place and city. They got a great apartment, continued developing relationships with their best friends and embarked full steam ahead in this new chapter of their lives. Jordyn and Alan have truly grown up together, personally, professionally, and as a couple.

On November 6, 2020, amid the pandemic and oncoming hurricane, Alan asked Jordyn to join him on a surprise date to celebrate our anniversary. They arrived at the marina in Coconut Grove where they embarked on a beautiful sunset sailboat ride. It was on this magical day that Alan got on one knee and proposed to Jordyn and asking her to be his wife. It was truly one of the happiest days of their lives (as you can see by these pictures!).

Following this incredible journey, Jordyn and Alan cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together and would love nothing more than for you to be a part in celebrating their special wedding day. Please join them along with family and friends as they continue their magical journey through life!
