Who knew a dating app would actually work? Thank you, Bumble!
Our worlds changed in more ways than just finding one another. We met for our first date on a Wednesday at Vallini, and again for dinner at Radice on Friday...by Monday the world was on lockdown.
John and I got to know each other rather quickly considering there was no where to go but to each others homes. I knew John had a kind heart from the second I met him. I was hoping he fell for my personality and not all the homemade dinners I made him. Turns out it was both!!
I felt an instant connection to Dina, which was very important, considering we were almost living together by date #3. We spent our lock down forming our amazing bond together. Moving so fast could have gone very wrong, but here we are planning a wedding and reflecting on how far we've come so fast. We are the perfect compliment of each other that creates an unbreakable team. I can't cook....so, maybe it was the homemade dinners?
Our very first vacation together was a road trip to the Finger Lakes and Boston. The world was shut down but we made the best of it! This trip didn't only help us learn we were more alike than we thought, we realized we were madly in love!
Before we knew it we were living together, and everything was perfect! Life in lockdown suited us well and our pups too!
Our first New Year's Eve together was in St. Maarten. Our first international travel together. We will always have a love for this island, and it's where we will seal our bond with all our amazing friends in May!
We are so grateful that each and every one of you are part of our wedding in St. Maarten! It's going to be EPIC!!!!!
