Geneva Airport - (GVA)
Fly directly into Geneva airport. It's about 1.5 hours from Talloires. We recommend renting a car or linking up with other guests and renting a car together for the weekend. Once in Talloires everything is in walking distance, but if you want to explore more of the region and/or stay in Annecy (about 15 minutes drive from Talloires), we definitely suggest having a car to take you where you need to go.
Alternatively, you can take a bus from the airport or schedule a private car all the way to Talloires if you prefer.
There are several homes in the area that can be rented via Airbnb, VRBO, and through local agencies. If you are traveling with family or in a large group we recommend this style of lodging.
This option for lodging tends to be less expensive than renting a hotel room.
Talloires is a very small town with limited options, so we suggest booking your accommodations sooner than later! It also happens to be a holiday weekend for the French, so don't wait until the last minute.
