Mercy Philip (Atha), Joel's Dad's older sister, and her husband Philip Kolakattu (Unnipapa), have played a huge role in raising Joel from the time he was born in Muscat, all the way till his time living in India. They're akin to a second set of parents for Joel, and he's equal to their own son to them.
