If you are choosing to fly to our wedding, the San Jose International Airport is the closest airport to Gilroy. You will still need to arrange for ground transportation, however, as it does still take approximately 35 minutes by car to Gilroy and/or the wedding venues. 

Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation available from the airport, and Ubers and Lyfts can be scarcer than in populated locations. Please arrange for carpooling options from the airport to the wedding venues/hotels ahead of time if possible.

If you would like to learn more about what Gilroy has to offer, we would highly recommend checking out some of the wineries in the area. Gilroy is part of the historic Santa Clara Valley, one of California’s oldest wine growing regions and home to more than 35 family-owned wineries and tasting rooms. Even though some of Gilroy’s wineries have been around since the turn of the century, they are still one of California’s best-kept secrets when it comes to wine tasting!

In fact, Verde Vineyards and Satori Cellers are located right next to the wedding ceremony. They are open from 12-5 pm on the weekends, so feel free to check them out before heading on over to the ceremony!
