Right in the heart of Brussels' city centre and, don’t quote as on this, the gay capital of Brussels, Au Vieux Saint-Antoine is one of the gay bars along Rue du Marché au Charbon and is a 5-minute walk to the famous Grand Place. Join us for a drink or two and let's all welcome the beautiful weekend ahead, together.
From JAM Hotel, guests will be picked up by a shuttle at exactly 3pm to bring you to the wedding venue, La Maison Basse in the small town of Lasne. Here's the schedule to guide you throughout the day:
1600 (4:00pm): Ceremony
1700 (5:00pm): Cocktails
1900 (7:00pm): Dinner
2200 (10:00pm): Party
The same shuttle will bring you back to JAM Hotel at the end of the party. Note that JAM Hotel will be the only pick-up and drop-off point.
Dress Code: Relaxed Formal
We would appreciate if everyone wears white or white with pastel earthy tones. You can refer to the colour guide below to give you some ideas of what other colours we recommend you to wear white with.
Guingettes are popular sights all over Europe where people bask under the summer sun and chat for hours with a glass of wine or, of course, a Belgian beer in hand. In Brussels, Guingette Maurice (from the Guingette Barc Group) is frequented by musicians, yoga fanatics, salsa dancers, and even Eurocrats as this is ideally located a few minutes away from the European Union headquarters.
Join us for an Sunday brunch in one of the corners of Parc du Cinquantenaire and let's end this beautiful weekend with a good croissant and a cup of coffee.
NOTE: We are kindly requesting each guest who are joining the brunch to prepare €20 and drop it in a box located near the counter.
If you're adventurous, take the Tram 81 towards Montgomery. There's a station a few minutes walk away from JAM Hotel called Janson and go down at the 11th stop called Merode. From there, you can walk to the Parc du Cinquantenaire and there, you will should easily find Guingette Maurice.
