Redmont Hotel: Hilton
$$
First opened in 1925, Redmont Hotel Birmingham, Curio Collection by Hilton, underwent a complete renovation in 2015, embracing state-of-the-art technologies and amenities, while retaining the style and glamour associated with the hotel in the 1920's. This boutique hotel is within walking distance to the Theatre District; where you will discover The Alabama Theatre, The Lyric Theatre, Paramount Restaurant and Bar, and lots of other dining and theatre options.
We love visiting the rooftop bar, whether you are staying at this hotel or searching for a view of the city!
Elyton Hotel: Marriott
$$$
Built in 1909, the 16-story Empire was celebrated as a symbol of Birmingham’s golden era and one of the country’s great industrial and manufacturing centers. Rising from the corner of 1st Avenue North and 20th Street – one of four buildings built at the intersection that were so large the corner was called the “Heaviest Corner on Earth”. “Elyton” references one of the city’s earliest entrepreneurs, who named the town Elyton a good 50 years before it became Birmingham in 1871. The name harks back to those heady days when all that lay before Birmingham – little more than a railroad junction at the time – were the potential for growth, blue skies, and the optimism of a new century.
We love visiting "Moon Shine" Elyton's rooftop bar!
The Kelly Birmingham, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Hampton Inn Birmingham/Mountain Brook
Good medium-budget option for people not wanting to stay downtown. Plenty of lot parking, still walkable from a couple of restaurants. Still only 5-7 minutes driving from the event venue downtown.
