We first connected on a dating app while Balraj was visiting Austin, Texas, and I was living in Houston. Rather than rushing into a relationship, we took the time to build a strong friendship, bonding over our shared interests in music, health, and mindfullness. When I traveled to London to explore Master’s programmes, we met in person for the first time, strolling through Regent’s Park and getting to know each other better.
