Older sister, former roommate, co-homeowner, and co-dog parent to Miss Poppy—there are so many ways to describe who Chantelle is to me and how our lives are intertwined. But above all, I’m incredibly lucky to have her in my life just as she is. With her sharp mind and quick wit, she effortlessly brings laughter and insight to every moment. The best thing about having an older sibling is that they’ve always been there—you’ve never known the world without them, and I can’t imagine mine any other way.
Some of you know her as Bunny, some as Tanya or T, but to me, she’s my baby sister. I’m one of the lucky ones, blessed with both the best older and younger sisters. I’m so grateful to have you as my little sister—the one I get to spoil. You are the perfect blend of warmth and heart, with a calming presence, a caring nature, and just the right touch of spice—making life all the more beautiful.
University is where you make friends for life, and truer words have never been spoken. Our friendship isn’t bound by time or distance—no matter how long it’s been, every time we see each other, it feels like no time has passed. A conversation, video call or even just a text with Nina always lifts my mood in some way, and her down-to-earth, easygoing nature makes every moment effortless.
San-Mari is my future sister, but from day one, she has made me feel like part of the family. With her kind and gentle nature, she’s always willing to help—no matter how big or small the task. But don’t be fooled by her soft-spoken demeanor—dynamite comes in small packages, and when it matters most, she’s the ultimate ride-or-die.
Stefan is Jean's partner in crime, from "killing" Jean as a toddler by closing him in a cooler box, to rolling a toy ride-on tractor down a hill in the Cape, to deciding to drive to Lake Malawi overnight these two have been through thick and thin together.
JG was born at a very young age. Over the years JG and Jean became very good friends after they met each other at Jean's 21st birthday. He is always ready to jump in and help when needed!

We're coming to the edge,
Running on the water,
Coming through the fog,
Your sons and daughters.
