It was a chilly, windy day in March of 2018; under the guise of walking to a friend's birthday party, Brian convinced Julia to take a walk on the Hudson river park towards where a friend's party was supposed to be. Although it took some convincing on Brian's part, they strolled all down the pier where he proposed in the same spot where they had their first kiss on their first date at the Hudson river park. Their family and friends were hiding out at a bar nearby to share that special moment with them.
