What is the dress code?
Formal, or Black-Tie Optional is the encouraged attire for our wedding. Examples include:
For Men: Dark suits with ties, tuxedos or dinner jackets
For Women: Cocktail dresses, formal evening gowns, or dark pant suits.
Please avoid the colors white and champagne, as those are reserved for the bride :)
Your ceremony is located in a church. Will there be Mass?
No, our wedding ceremony will not include a Mass. Everyone is welcome!
I notice there is an hour gap between the ceremony and reception. What should I do?
There are a few options! You can check into your hotel and freshen up/rest. Bethesda Row is a few minutes away for sightseeing and shopping. There is also a lobby bar in the hotel.
Do I have a plus one? Are children allowed?
While we would love to give everyone a plus one, we want our wedding to be an intimate adult-only celebration. Only those listed on your invitation may be in attendance.
Are you having an open bar?
Yes! There will be an open bar for cocktail hour and the rest of the reception.
What are your wedding colors?
Moody Romance: Dark Purple, Mid Purple, Dark Grey, and Mauve.
