FUN IN THE SUN AND WAVES

Tour of North Shore with Lunch, Beach, and Shave Ice

The North Shore is notorious for some of the best surfing in the world and includes one of the most quaint beach towns that Jay and Shawn have ever been to.  We will spend a day up there touring some of the favorite spots that Jay and Shawn regularly visit.  Starting with a visit to Haleiwa town, we will grab items for lunch where you have your choice of visiting Giovanni's Shrimp Truck, well known for their Garlic Butter Shrimp, or going to Pono's for some amazing Kalua Pork and other Sandwiches.  Once we grab our lunch, we will then head over to Haleiwa Beach Park (or somewhere close by) to spend a few hours at the beach.  Once we've had our fair share of rays, we will then head back into town to end the day at Matsumoto's Shave Ice, a Hawaiian classic since 1951.  Enjoy some of the best that Oahu has to offer!

Laughter is Brightest Where Food is Best

Join us for Brunch

After graduating college, Jay took a gap year and spent three months with his Aunt Mabel and Uncle John living in the Manoa Valley of Honolulu. During this time he worked at Wai'oli, and while he certainly did not have the chops to make it as a waiter full time, he did have the honor of serving then-Senator Obama and Michelle Obama during his stint.

Join us for a brunch at this Manoa Valley locals' spot where Jay and Shawn have shared many tasty treats together.  Very casual, order at the counter and bring a number to your table.

High Tides and Good Vibes

Hawaii is well known for its majestic sunsets, and there is truly no better way to experience it than on a boat out at sea. Come enjoy a sunset cruise with us.

Kerry, one of Shawn's best friends from high school, and Shawn share fond memories of this activity dating back to when Shawn interned at UH Manoa in 2012.  Many more Mai Tai's than recommended were enjoyed while onboard.

We will provide additional details on this event as we get closer to the event.

Price: This event will cost approximately $50 USD per guest

DETAILS OF SAIL

The sail will take off from Kewalo Basin, across the street from Ala Moana Shopping Center and a 12 minute-drive from the Laylow Hotel in Waikiki. There will not be any food on board but drinks will be readily available and encouraged!  We can also recommend some restaurants in the area if you'd like to get dinner there before White Party.

Get there no later than 4:45pm sharp for a smooth and on-time departure at 5pm.

Parking is available on site for $1/per hr. Parking pay stations will accept Cash or Credit Cards.

Please arrive no later than 4:45pm. The sail is two hours long and we will return by 7:00pm.

Dance your Jetlag away

White Party: The Revival

After the catamaran cruise, grab a bite to eat and regroup with us at Hula's.  This evening serves as the perfect antidote to fight off your jet lag: dancing at a gay bar!

Since the very beginning, Hula's has been a permanent fixture in the Hawaiian gay scene.  First opened in 1974, the bar served as Hawaii's first 'out' disco bar.

Let's continue the tradition by bringing our own party to this establishment. Some of you are aware that Out4Biz, Wharton's LGBTQ+ affinity group, hosted some of the best parties of the year while Jay was in business school.  White Party was the apex, and we invite you to help us relive some of these memories.

Dress Code: WHITE!

The theme for this evening is White Party.

Show off your best outfit in white (shorts, jeans, shirts, you name it)!

WHITE PARTY, REVIVED...
Salty Hair, Don't Care

There's no better way to recover from a catamaran cruise and dancing at Hula's than by catching some rays by the beach or pool.

Stop by for a quick hello, or stay for the afternoon.  We will be just a few steps from both the pool and ocean.

This event will be taking place at the Four Seasons Serenity Pool.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Every family has a story... welcome to ours!

The Lamb and Wong Families Invite You to the Welcome Soirée

We are encouraging guests to come in the following color palette, from ivories to sand and cream to tan.  Whether it's a flowy nude-toned romper, or khakis and a white button up, sip on some Sancerre and champagne to match the attire.
