FAQs

When Should I RSVP?
We're so excited to celebrate with you! So we can plan accordingly, please send your response no later than Sunday, April 4, 2021.

What Should I Wear?
Be ready to party the night away dressed in your best. Black Tie Optional or Semi Formal attire is requested.

What About COVID safety?
It is important to us that we are able to host a fun and safe event. Our vendors and staff are well-versed in safety precautions and guests will be asked to wear a face mask, unless eating or drinking. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and support in this matter. Please see the section below for more information.

I have food allergies or am vegan/vegetarian. What should I do?
If you are vegan or vegetarian or have food allergies, please indicate so when you RSVP. Contact jaweddingday424@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Adult-Friendly Event
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We hope you will understand our decision and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!

Can I bring a plus one?
Due to the space limitations as well as capacity limitations due to the pandemic, we have had to contain the number of plus ones. Please refer to your online RSVP options for plus one information.

Where Should I Stay?
We have room blocks in several wonderful hotels within walking distance of the venue. See our Hotels page for more details.

How Do I Get Around Town?
Downtown is a very walkable area with plenty of restaurants and attractions to explore. The hotels within the room block offer parking options and are all located within walking distance of the venue or are a short Uber/Lyft ride away.

What About Weather?
April in the Midwest is usually beautiful, though spring storms can occur. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast in the weeks and days leading up to the weekend and planning ahead for inclement weather by bringing an umbrella, alternate footwear, etc. - just in case.

COVID-19

Even with the rollout of vaccines and declining numbers of infections, the COVID-19 pandemic continues throughout the country. As this will be a larger gathering, we want to ensure that our event remains as safe as possible for each of you. We are all responsible for keeping each other safe and healthy, so we ask that everyone in attendance take safety precautions seriously.

To ensure the safety of all in attendance, including our guests, vendors, and ourselves, guests will be asked to wear a face mask, except when eating or drinking. Social distancing when possible will also be encouraged.

The venue staff and our wedding vendors are well-versed in safety measures needed to keep everyone safe. In addition to following heightened cleaning standards and other safety precautions, they will all also wear personal protective equipment. If you have any questions about the safety procedures or expectations, please reach out to us at jaweddingday424@gmail.com.

If you are in an at risk category or feel uncomfortable attending a large gathering, please let us know. We do not want anyone to feel uncomfortable or pushed beyond their boundaries. We will completely understand if you must decline. Please let us know, and we will make plans to connect with you in person once it is safe to do so again.
