How do should I dress in Spanish weddings?
The most important thing is you feel beautiful and whatever you decide to wear will be perfect.
However if you need some guideline, here are some tips:
- We recommend to avoid wearing narrow heals as the ground might be uneven.
- In Spain, for day weddings we avoid ground long dresses and usually go for midi colorful dresses.
- Headpieces are welcome but not very common
- Temperature might drop during the evening and you might appreciate bringing a light jacket or cover up.
- In case you want to rent an outfit for the occasion: Mireia has started her dress rental business.

Venue's story
El Moli de la Torre, is a majestic neoclassical manor house, restored in 1853. It was built by Josep Roca y Bros and considered one of the most important farmhouses and farms in the Empordà.
Initially it was a flour mill and it generated its own electricity until 1950. Over time it has had several owners, the most notorious being the mezzo-soprano María Pichot i Gironès, known internationally as María Gay.
Maria Gay was the owner of Molino de la Torre between 1906 and 1926, although due to her international success she lived very little. The care of the house was taken care of by her brother Pepito Pichot, a well-known botanist and creator of gardens. The walls of the Mill keep the memory of the passage of little Salvador Dalí Domènech, who was his source of inspiration, according to himself.
Dalí includes a drawing of the building and describes his first contact with El Molino de la Torre, saying that "it impressed me as a magical place, it was made expressly for the continuation of my daydreaming and daydreaming" and also stated "in this place where they occurred most of my dreams, especially those of an erotic nature".
This one has lived through several projects, such as a luxury residence, the Museum of Naive Art,... until it has been brought to its current state.
