Where shall I stay?
There are plenty of hotels and apartments in Sorrento and Sant'Agnello.
We are staying at the Grand Hotel Del Parco Sole
Where do I fly to?
The nearest airport to the Sorrento is Naples. You can fly here from all major UK airports.
How do I get to and from the airport?
Naples airport is approximately 53km from the centre of Sorrento. This takes roughly 1-1.5 hours by car depending of traffic.
If you are booking package, you are likely to have transfer included. Alternatively you can book the following:
Private transfer/taxi - approx. 75 - 100 Euros
Bus - 10 Euros one way
Train - 3.60 Euros (this is the slowest/least convenient option)
Ferry from Naples to Sorrento - 15 Euros (this is the quickest option)
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
The ceremony will be taking place at Chiostro di San Francesco (The Cloisters) and reception at O'Parruchiano La Favorita (The Lemon Garden).
There will be a drinks reception at The Villa following the ceremony and we will carry on drinking and dancing into the night at The Foreigner's Club!
Please note that all the venues are within a 5 minute walking distance of one another and taxis will always be available.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors in the courtyard of the Chiostro di San Francesco. The reception will take place at the Lemon Garden - this is a restaurant under a canopy of lemon trees.
Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
This is will depend on where you are staying. Grand Hotel Parco del Sole has a regular shuttle bus to the town centre however transport from other locations will have to be organised individually. All hotels are either in a walkable distance or taxis are available.
What time should I arrive?
Guests are asked to arrive from 3pm.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony we will be having drinks and photos at The Villa, followed by our wedding reception at The Lemon Garden. We will end the night with drinks and dancing at The Foreigner's Club!
Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Yes - food and drink will be served at the reception! This will be traditional Italian cuisine and you will pick your food choices on the day. We will share the menu when it is available!
Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Yes - please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements/allergies in advance so we can notify the restaurant.
Are kids welcome?
Yes! Please let us know whether they will be attending when you RSVP.
What will the weather be like?
It is pretty mild in April - you can expect average temperatures of 18 degrees!
