After being introduced through friends in April 2017, we soon went on our first date!
Needless to say, we were both keen and decided to go on our second date the very next day…
By the third date we were officially boyfriend and girlfriend...and the rest is history!
Following a family weekend away to Northumberland not long after getting together, we booked our first holiday to Rome at the beginning of August 2017 and despite being in the middle of a European heatwave, this is where our love for Italy began!
This was a big moment in our lives, but one we both cherish. The kids are our world and we love them so much. Our beautiful blended family is everything to us

Losing Dad in March 2018 was the hardest time of my life but I wouldn't have got through it without Matthew (and all you amazing people) by my side.
Not having my dad with us on our wedding day is still hard to come to terms with, but I know he will be by my side in spirit to walk me down the aisle and share our special day with us!

We've been lucky enough to visit many places together around the world...
But one of our most memorable trips (and why we're here inviting you today) was our holiday to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast in June 2018.
We instantly fell in love with the place and we're sure you will too!
Covid-19 meant lockdown and for us both that meant working from home...together...for 2 years straight...
...but in all honesty we would have gone insane without each other's company!
Although Covid-19 was a hard time for everyone it also brought us plenty of happy memories during our time in lockdown at home with the kids and brought us closer than ever!
In October 2020, we brought our beautiful boy Jasper (AKA Jasp, Baby Jasp, Mr Jasp, Mr Jaspy, Jaspy Waspy, Hansy Boy, Disney Dog etc.) home for the first time.
We can’t remember a time without our boy as part of our family and home!
On Friday, 11 December 2020 Matthew asked me to be his wife (spoiler alert...I said YES!)
Matthew proposed at Friar's Cragg in the Lake District and although it was raining (and a puppy Jasp was hating life) it was perfectl! I also know that my dad was with us that day, as a little Robin was sat on the tree watching over us at that exact moment!
