AIR BNB
There are a very limited number of Air BnBs that are significantly closer than the hotels. If you've never stayed in an Air BnB before, you're basically renting out someone's home (like when you rent a beach house).

LOOKING TO SHARE A ROOM WITH SOMEONE?

PARKING: There is ample parking at the Briar Patch if you are planning on driving all the way in. Parking at the Home2 Suites is free to all, parking at the Hampton Inn is free to guests and $6/night for anyone not staying there.
SHUTTLE: The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the Home2 and the Hampton Inn for any guests who are interested, as well as drop off at the Little River Inn.
RIDESHARE SERVICES AND FARE ESTIMATES: The venue is close enough to civilization that Lyft, Uber, and even normal taxis still work. Ride Guru is a resource that aggregates fares from Lyft, Uber, local taxis, etc. and even allows you to book ahead. Check them out here.

We heard a rumor that some celebs frequent it when they're taking a break from DC (politicos, movie stars, people WAY cooler than us). If you have the means and the desire splash out on a crazy room at the resort and be super close, then, by all means, you should do it. (Also: if you do end up there, omg please tell us how it is, we're morbidly curious.)
