The restored house of Maurice Herzog, mountain guide, leader of the first expedition to conquer an 8000m peak and former mayor of Chamonix.
This is truly a piece of mountaineering history, and now you can enjoy a few drinks where the great man once sat.
With a bar, stage and small lounge area on the ground floor you can enjoy some fantastic performances from up-and-coming as well as established jazz musicians and singers.

La Tour & Balme are known for sunny intermediate skiing and great views. Restaurant is located at the top of the Charamillon Gondola.
Located at the mid-station of the Brevent, where the Planpraz gondola arrives, this beautiful mountain chalet has one of the most beautiful views of the valley.
Chamonix's ski area is made up of five different ski areas, two of which are linked together with the rest separated along the length of the valley.
