Tepoztlán is a hippie pueblo with vegan-glutenfree-yoga vibes, very pretty and very “local”. It is the closest town to Mexico City. You must fly to Mexico City and then go to Tepoz in a car. Anyone who has a few extra vacation days to spare we suggest coming to Mexico City before the wedding, worth it 100%. Tepoztlan is a 1:15H drive from the most popular places in Mex City
Many of us will already be there on Friday (rumors of a golf tournament at noon). If you are planning on arriving on saturday morning that also works.
We suggest 3 options to go/come back.
1- Hire a van amongst friends with a driver. We are coordinating this option with a Van company named Urbvan. For $ 500 total, you will have a personal driver that will drive you to Tepoz on friday and will return you to Mexico city on sunday and will also move you around over the weekend. 2- Rent a car at the airport. Ask for a toll thing.
3- Uber is probably 70 Dollars from Mexico City to Tepoztlan, and the return trip would probably be a cab.
