Please Log inWe will be spending a few hours on Saturday afternoon hanging out on the beautiful grounds of the capitol building. Anyone who is in town is encouraged to come join us to say hi or hang out for however long you are able.
We are planning to post up under one of the oak trees in the front half of the grounds, between 11th street and the visitors center (see below screenshot and above link for exact location).
PLEASE READ - Transportation to/from the Venue
Onsite parking is limited to 60 spots, so if you are driving we highly recommend that you carpool with other guests if possible. If you will not be driving yourself to the venue, we highly recommend that you schedule a taxi/ride service for the ride home ahead of time in case you have difficulty getting an uber/lyft home at the end of the night.
Dress Code/Guidelines
For gentlemen, slacks and a jacket or a suit is appropriate.
For ladies, a cocktail or full-length dress is appropriate
We will be in Texas, so cowboy boots are always appropriate as formal footwear. For ladies, we highly discourage wearing stiletto heels. Much of our venue space is outdoors and on grass/gravel, we would not want anyone’s shoes to be ruined and suggest you wear boots, block-heels, or flats instead.
