After a couple of years of rollercoasters and speed humps, we are very excited to be welcoming the Edwards to Australia in May after 3 very long years apart. With this, we are so excited to be to welcome you to an intimate affair and celebrate our wedding in the gorgeous New South Wales countryside with an evening full of happiness and love.

Meet us on the picturesque grounds of the historic Wallalong House, just out of the gorgeous town of Morpeth. The house is surrounded by 200-year-old fig trees at the ceremony site, with elevated country views and complete privacy.
Following the ceremony, pre reception will take place on the grounds with drinks and substantial canapes (did someone say tacos?!....)
Dinner will take place in the gorgeous Indian tent overlooking the pool on one side and with breathtaking elevated country views on the other.

AIRPORTS
DOMESTIC - Newcastle Airport (NTL)
We recommend flying domestically into Newcastle airport. It is a 30 minute drive to the venue (33 km).
INTERNATIONAL - Sydney Airport (SYD)
For those coming in Internationally, Sydney would be the closest airport where you can choose to hire a car from there where it is a 2hr20m drive to the venue (185 km).
There is also the option to transfer domestically from Sydney Airport onto a flight to Newcastle Airport. This is also another option if you International Route takes you to Melbourne, you can transfer from there to Newcastle.
There is no public transport to Hunter Valley. Hiring a car would be the best mode of transport with multiple car rental companies.
Should you be flying into Newcastle, we have many cars driving out to Hunter Valley from there, so please do let us know if you require transportation from there, as that can easily be arranged.
Please make your arrangements as soon as possible for the best rates and availability.
In order to assist with availability, we have booked our wedding on a Tuesday as we have found the area still has plenty of accommodation availability from Monday 09 - Friday 13 May.
What currency do I need?
Australia's currency is the Australia dollar (AUD). All major debit and credit cards are accepted at most shops. ATM's are widely available.
What are the condition of the roads to the venue from major airports?
The majority of roads to Hunter Valley are major highways.
