I knew Tae was the one for me when everything felt right. The hugs and reassurance he gave were amazing. He knows when to lead and doesn’t have a problem knowing when to follow. He prays for me and lifts me when I am not myself. Tae is playful and doesn’t mind teaching me anything that I am curious about. He doesn’t mind learning either or at least trying to figure something out. He has learned patience, but he has always been kind. He never lets his ego get the best of him and I always know I am safe when I am with him. Over the years of dating, he has become more than just a lover, but my best friend and soulmate. I continue to fall more and more in love with him.

We met in high school. I was in the library researching for one of my classes, and he was skipping class. I saw him when I walked in, but I never paid him any mind. I walked over to the computer and began to do my work. He walked over and sat down in the vacant seat beside me. I was sitting there smelling my hair because I had a thing for placing my hair over my lip when thinking or concentrating. He proceeded to ask “why are you smelling your hair?” I responded by saying it smelled good and asked would he like to smell it. I placed a piece of hair in his hand for him to smell. He smelled it and said "that it does smell good but that is mighty weird of you." Jokingly, he asked for my name and number. We kind of dated in high school meaning I would meet up with him at the movies or bowling alley, but it was nothing too serious. We became good friends after he graduated from high school, but nothing more. It was not until my last year of college that we finally decided to test out our high school crush where it just blossomed.

I knew Allison was the one, the moment I laid eyes on her. She had some type of glow around her that seemed unreal. At that moment I knew she was the one I needed in my life. The love and patience, she brought into my life were unrealistic and nothing I ever felt before. She brought happiness to my soul when I was not myself and the nurturing she would do in an instant. Allison does everything from her heart and never expects anything in return; I never had to ask her to do anything. She has been in my corner since day 1. She has been by my side during the good and bad days. I am so grateful that God sent her into my life. Her smile alone can make my rainy days turn into sunshine. Allison is the type of woman who will go out of her way to make sure everything is good, even when she has a lot going on herself.
