Mahala and I first met at Johns Hopkins Hospital, while sitting in on a patient suffering from mental illness. After speaking with her, I was intrigued by her mind state and how ambitious she was working two jobs while in nursing school. We laughed, enlightened, and reflected with one another up and until the end of our shift came then Mahala stared at me with her beautiful bright eyes and gave a look like "your not going to ask me for my number". I then smiled back at her and said it was a pleasure speaking with you and I wished her a good night. After, I prayed to God and said if it was meant for me to see Mahala again allow me to see her and if its not please don't allow me to see her.
A few days later after we met, Mahala came onto the hospital unit that I worked on. I smiled to myself then I stared into her eyes and we smiled at each other. I immediately asked her for her phone number and it was then that I knew she was the one.
