Please Log inLocal Guests - Welcome Drinks
Several of our friends in the UK are arriving in North Cadbury the evening of the 14th due to the early start on Tuesday. If you will be in town, we'd love to have you join us in the Library or Sitting room for a Welcome Drink!
We'll retire by 11 PM so that we can all be in good form for Tuesday.
The main celebratory meal held after a marriage ceremony (so-called because of pre-1887 English law which required that weddings be performed before noon).
After the ceremony and drinks reception, we'll head into the Ballroom for a seated dinner catered by Pickers Catering. Please RSVP to let us know your starter, mains, and dessert choices. Children will have the option for a children's menu.
Band Info
Party Up's effortless cool and astonishingly high level of musicianship has provided the perfect headline entertainment at hundreds of weddings and parties over the last seven years.
The band play a mix of infectiously danceable pop, funk, soul, R&B, hip hop and UK garage. The band count Sky, Cadburys and the actress Emma Thompson among their regular clients.
Party Up's standard 6-piece line-up features male vocals and includes keyboards and sax, which allows them to recreate soulful classics by Stevie Wonder and Prince, floor-fillers by Michael Jackson and Chaka Khan and chart-toppers by Pharrell and Bruno Mars with stunning authenticity!
The band have a long and impressive list of credentials in the music industry. Between them, they've performed on Top of the Pops, TFI Friday, Parkinson and Later With Jools Holland.
Members of the band have appeared on the same stage as Sister Sledge, Carleen Anderson, Richard Ashcroft, Boy George, Sir Elton John and Tom Jones, played at world famous venues such as Shepherd’s Bush Empire and the 100 Club and have session credits with soul and rare groove stars such as Tom Browne and James Mason.
