We will be departing the lobby of the AC Hotel at 10am sharp to hike "The M Trail" which offers one of the best views in all of Missoula. It's a moderately challenging, but short 1.5 mile round trip hike. We will be going slow so people of all ages can join. And there are benches all the way up if you want to stop or take a break.
Everyone MUST bring a bottle of water.
After the hike, we'll be heading to the upstairs patio at Conflux Taphouse/Brewing Co at 1230pm for lunch, drinks, and a great view of The M Trail we just hiked. We highly recommend their beer flights and craft cocktails, especially the local favorite "Doc Holiday" mule.
Conflux is right across the street from the AC Hotel. So for those arriving Thursday, just drop your bags at the hotel and then come join the group at Conflux! We'll be there all afternoon greeting folks as they arrive.
From 8pm onward Thursday evening, we'll be heading to one of our very favorite bars "Stave & Hoop" for some fantastic craft cocktails (and if we're lucky, some live music as well).
In true speakeasy form, the entrance is hidden in the back alley. Go to 223 N Higgins Ave, and then proceed down the alley. Follow the string lights and look for the "Stave & Hoop" sign above a door, then carefully proceed down the stairs to the bar.
Please join us from 2-7pm for a day before party filled with fun games, good beer, and entertaining speeches! Food will be provided. Attire is "Casual/Western Casual".
Guests can take Uber/Lyft/Taxi/Rental Cars to and from the venue. Please carpool as options can be limited in a small town.
For those driving, there is plenty of on site parking. Please also carpool with others.
No kids will be invited to this event.
Please join Angelique and Heath for a night of dancing and celebration! The event will begin at 4pm, but please feel free to arrive earlier. There will be no ceremony. Attire will be " Cowboy Cocktail/Formal".
Arrival: Guests can take Ubers/Lyfts/Taxis/Rental Cars to the venue. Please carpool as availability can be limited in a small town.
For those driving, there is plenty of on site parking. And it is perfectly fine (and encouraged) to leave your car there overnight, so long as it is picked up by 10am the following morning.
Departure/Shuttles: Shuttles will be provided Saturday night from the venue back to the AC Hotel in Downtown Missoula at 9PM, 10PM, and the last run at 11:15PM.
No kids will be invited to this event.
There is NO ceremony.
4-5PM: Event begins - Cocktail Hour.
5-7PM: BBQ buffet dinner, no seating assignments necessary.
6:30-8PM: Speeches, first dances, and the fire pit is lit for S'mores dessert and coffee.
8-11PM: Dancing all night long.
11PM - TBD: Join us for an after party at Red's Bar in Downtown Missoula for a true Montana bar experience.
SHUTTLE TIMES: 9PM, 10PM & 11:15PM. Barn on Mullan back to the AC Hotel in downtown Missoula.
For the night owls - Join us for an after party (and a true Montana bar experience) from 11PM till closing at "Red's Bar" in downtown Missoula. It's a very short 2 block walk from the AC Hotel.
Red's has been a Missoula institution, serving peanuts and alcohol since 1952. They also have Keno.
For those of you who want to say goodbye, and/or the many of you who are staying till Monday...we are going to have a casual picnic hangout at Caras Park, which is a quick 5 block walk from the AC Hotel.
Grab a sandwich from "Market On Front" deli across the street from the AC Hotel, and then walk on over to Caras Park. We will be at a shaded spot under the trees, or at one of the various picnic tables.
