We're right at the base of Yosemite, so take this as an opportunity to explore California's wonder! Below are some of our favorite spots, listed. Be sure to check how far the specific place you're going is, as Yosemite is very big!

Bass Lake is a gorgeous, forest lined lake with plenty to do including hiking, paddleboarding, boating, dining, and more. The water gets warm in the summer and it's gorgeous!
Ducey's is a great restaurant, and the Marina Bar & Grill is another super fun outdoor restaurant/bar with live music!
Lewis Creek Trail to Corlieu Falls
Distance from Paradise Springs ~ 20 min
Hike to a gorgeous, 40 foot waterfall! Start at the trailhead on Highway 41 (see link below) It is about 1-2 miles round trip and is an easy hike, getting steep only at the end at the falls.
Angel Falls - Near Bass Lake

Swimming holes, cliff jumping, and waterfalls!
Nelder Grove - Giant Sequoias

Lots of easy walking trails and of course, giant sequoia trees! (Look up on google for directions)
Wawona Meadow Loop
Distance from Paradise Springs ~ 45 min
A gorgeous, 3.5 mile EASY loop through some gorgeous meadows. This is at the start of Yosemite, much before you get into the valley, but is GORGEOUS!
