The Night It All Started

Despite the look on my face I swear I was having an amazing time!

It was supposed to be just another night going dancing, but suddenly it was the night that changed our lives forever. Neither one of us knew how to dance a bit of salsa but we spent the whole night on the dance floor. The rest was history!

Our First Date

A cold and snowy February afternoon, we settled for the most classic first date... food. Full of nerves and excitement the evening passed by so casually as if we had known each other all our lives.

Meet The Parents

A big step for our relationship was meeting each others parents. The obvious nerves of introductions and the dreaded interrogations were not at all what we had made them up to be in our heads. Meeting the parents and family members was a big step in the right direction, meeting the people that were soon going to become one big family.

UMB Class of 2020

Such a special moment for us both, getting to share it together made it all the more special ❤️

Distance Makes the Heart...

Definitely one of the hardest things for us both, spending our first long periods of time apart. It started with me leaving for Spain for 2 weeks. During this time apart we both realized our relationship was so much more than what it had started out as. We both realized during this time apart that we had fallen in love. When I came back he left for Spain shortly after, this time for 3 weeks apart. It’s true what they say though, distance did make our hearts grow fonder.

March 18th 2020

Our one year anniversary was a very unique experience, in the midst of covid and everything shutting down Juan Pablo still made sure that we had a special day. He cooked me dinner and baked me dessert and found a way for us to celebrate our anniversary. It couldn’t have been a more amazing day.

I do!!!!

Juan Pablo proposed in the most magical way, every girls dream proposal. Starting off with my favorite meal, he took me to the North End for risotto. After dinner he suggested going for a walk, he drove me to the harbor walk near our old campus where we would go for walks while in college. He lead me to the gazebo where he had asked me to be his girlfriend, with the help of some friends who had set the place up with beautiful lights, candles, rose pedals, and music he proposed. If that was magical enough, right after the proposal there were fireworks lit up all over Boston and even some lit up right in front of us. It was straight out of a fairytale ❤️
