Things to Do

Visit a Museum

Chicago is home to many world-class museums. Spend the day viewing art at the Art Institute of Chicago, stop by the Museum of Science and Industry—the largest science museum in the Western hemisphere, or see the world's most complete Tyrannosaurus rex, SUE, at the Field Museum, just to name a few.

Catch a Movie at the Music Box

Our favorite place to see a movie, the Music Box has been a staple in the Lakeview neighborhood for over 90 years. Fingers crossed they've got a 70mm planned while you're in town.

Shop Til You Drop

Walk the Magnificent Mile and enjoy the shopping available along the way! You'll also see famed buildings like the John Hancock, the Water Tower, the Drake Hotel, and more.

Explore a Chicago Neighborhood

Chicago has over 200 neighborhoods. When we have a free weekend, we love to pick a new neighborhood and explore! Some of our favorite neighborhoods thus far include Wrigleyville (duh), Hyde Park, Logan Square, Bucktown, Lincoln Park, and Pilsen. Even a seasoned Chicagoan knows, there's always more to see in this city of ours.
