There are two main airports on the island. Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston and Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay. Both airports are approximately 1.5 hours drive from Ocho Rios where the wedding events will take place.

Transportation may be arranged at the airport. There are taxi services that can take you to where you will be staying. The main taxi service at the airport is JUTA. You can find them after you have cleared customs before you exit the airport. We recommend getting in contact with other guests to organize transport to split costs.

There are a lot of Airbnb’s around Ocho Rios which are also a great option for accommodations. You can google map it to the venue Laughing Waters to give you an idea of how far it is. I would recommend staying within 10-15 mins of the venue.

The Hotel Riu Ocho Rios (All Inclusive 24h) enjoys a beachfront location in the splendid Mammee Bay, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, surrounded by thick woods and waterfalls

Riu is an great option as it is 5 minutes forn the wedding venue.

Moon Palace is an all inclusive hotel located in the resort area of Ocho Rios roughly 10 minutes from our wedding venue. 

Ocho Rios is buzzing with activity and things to do for everyone! Saturday is a free day and we highly recommend going on an excursion to explore some of the things the island has to offer. We have included some links below as suggestions for things to do.

Dunn's River Falls is one of Jamaica's national treasures. Globally, it is as well known as reggae and equally stimulating. There are few places where the Arawak name "Xayamaca" - land of rivers and springs - is more apt. The Spaniards called the area "Las Chorreras", the waterfalls or springs and it is truly one of the most beautiful spots on the island.

Rainforest Adventures Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios is the heart and soul of the Jamaica rainforest activities!
