May 16, 2022 - It was a beautiful day on the beach, the sun was setting and the waves were crashing in the background. I had planned the proposal for weeks, I wanted everything to be perfect. I knew she loved the beach. This was her safe place - her own paradise on earth. I wanted to be part of that, so I decide to propose to her here.
As we walked down the beach, I could feel my heart racing. I had been nervous all day, even though we just had a couples massage to relax. We were laughing and joking about the fancy private dinner table with white tent that was set up on the beach, while not realizing that it was for us.
We walked into the tent and sat down to a romantic dinner, with candles and flower petals. We were served a multi-course dinner, each course more delicious than the last. I had the ring inside my pocket, and the engagement watch and bouquet of flowers to be served by our waiter when I knelt down on one knee.
I got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. I had a speech prepared, but I was so nervous that I was stuttering. I told her how much I loved her and that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She said yes, and we hugged and kissed, surrounded by the sound of the waves.
After the proposal, my family came out to join us and we took memorable photos together. It was a magical night, and one that we would always remember.
It was the start of our forever, on her paradise on earth. I am finally a part of that.

Ralph’s family was greeted warmly by Pauline and her parents. Ralph’s family, including his parents, siblings and close friend accompanied him. They brought with them a variety of dishes as a gesture of goodwill and to show respect to Pauline’s family.

They gave their blessing to the couple, and the families celebrated the happy occasion with more food and laughter.
