Per Craig, in 2014, he tried to say hi to Gabby in the halls of Lenox Hill Hospital where they both worked, but she brushed by him and he was left in her trails. He tried saying hi several more times, but she paid no attention to him. One day, he was standing behind her in the checkout line in the cafeteria and did what any normal person would do. He accused her of stealing to the cashier in hopes that this would get her attention. (It definitely did).
According to Gabby, this story went a little bit differently…
Gabby was so focused on getting her job done that she didn’t realize that Craig said hello to her (once). In her mind, Dr. Grossman was the grumpy old man that she endlessly had to page to clarify his medication orders. When she was accused of stealing in the cafeteria by that same voice, she wasn’t even mad. Gabby was more in shock that this grumpy old man was in fact a young handsome stud.
After the beautiful pharmacist finally responded, Craig found himself going home and trying to teach himself Russian. (He’s still trying).
Fast forward a couple of years, Gabby found herself packing her bags and moving all the way to Sin City (Las Vegas), where Craig was now doing his fellowship.
One ring and two dogs later, they moved back to the East Coast and are now excited for the celebrations ahead.

Babbs
Born in Las Vegas, Babbs came in at 8 lbs., 3 oz. and was 12 weeks young when we took her in as a foster baby. After about 30 seconds, we knew that we couldn't let her go. They warned us that she was feisty and they didn't lie. At first, she wasn't too happy when we told her she was going to have a brother, but then after some time she started to warm up to him and they eventually became inseparable.
Benji
When the three of us went to meet Babbs' future brother, we weren't expecting to meet Benji. The second he ran up to us at the adoption event, we knew that it was meant to be. Initially going to meet another dog, we met Benji first and never looked back. He didn't know what was worst, surviving the hurricane in Puerto Rico or surviving the wrath of Babbs, but he successfully did both.
