Shuks are the perfect place to observe a bit of local action. Specializing in fresh produce and clothes, Carmel Market is Tel Aviv’s largest and busiest market. 

Old Jaffa is one of the best places to visit in Tel Aviv. Wander around the narrow alleys of Old Jaffa. This charming district of Old Jaffa boasts antiquities and original structures spanning the Byzantine, Crusader and Ottoman-eras.

Check out the Jaffa Port - one of the oldest ports in the world with a ton of restaurants, cafés, shops and culture. Also visit the Jaffa flea market - Shuk Hapishpishim - which has transformed into an epicenter of design, fashion, food and culture in Tel Aviv. It has great restaurants and some of the hottest nightlife spots.

Tel Aviv is a small city, but it has some amazing neighborhoods to explore. One of our favorites is Neve Tzedek with its cute coffee shops and boutiques. Neve Tzedek is Tel Aviv's SoHo. Trendy European restaurants sit alongside stylish bistros, and many al-fresco cafes turn into jazz bars and cocktail lounges at night. It has some of the city's premier art venues, including the Rokach House Museum and the Suzanne Dellal Centre and there is also a weekly farmers market in the Tachana, a restored railway station. Also check out the Shuk Levinsky area for some street art and gazoz!

Cafés by day, clubs by night, when in Tel Aviv, do as the locals do and take a stroll down Rothschild Boulevard. Wander down Tel Aviv’s most beautiful tree-lined boulevard and embrace the classic Bauhaus architecture. 

Sarona Compound, a 140-year-old former Templar colony, is the first culinary center of its kind in Israel. An 8,700-square-meter market houses dozens of specialty food shops from all around the world. Inside the market, you’ll find everything imaginable from Dutch cheese to waffle towers and even Asian buns.

Nothing beats walking – or cycling – along the seaside promenade, breathing in the fresh, salty air of the Mediterranean. 

Centrally located opposite the Sheraton Hotel, this beach is among Tel Aviv's busiest. Gordon Beach boasts volleyball courts and a lovely saltwater swimming pool, surrounded by lawns to lounge on. On the boardwalk you’ll find a myriad of restaurants serving huge portions of Israeli classics. After sundown, various outdoor beach bars provide sun-burnt partiers with some after hour fun with DJs, drinks and dancing.

One of the most beloved beaches in Tel Aviv. For those who get antsy laying around all day, there are beach volleyball courts in addition to a fitness trail to get a workout in the sun. On the Tel Aviv promenade, there are many restaurants and bars within close proximity, so you don’t have to go far to refuel.

On weekends, this beach is crowded with locals and foreigners flocking in to enjoy good food, plenty of umbrella-covered chairs and tables at the beach Cafe.

A heaven for foodies. Shila is always buzzing. The food is fancy, but the vibe is eclectic and energetic. Try the fish tartare wrapped in avocado!

Eyal Shani’s North Abraxas exemplifies the Tel-Aviv vibe- lively, fun and stylish yet simple and nonchalant. The food is creative and extremely well-executed.

Possibly the coolest spot in Tel Aviv, this outdoor hangout also has some of the best innovative Israeli dishes created under the supervision of Eyal Shani.

More than one million visitors a year walk through Yad Vashem, Israel’s living memorial to the millions murdered in the Holocaust. The City of David is one of the most important archaeological sites in Israel. Various discoveries have been made here in recent years that are absolutely fascinating. We learn something new every time we visit!
