Christina and I met sophomore year of college when I randomly knocked after seeing someone new had moved into her room. Although we were only at the same school for a semester she has been my best friend for 10 years. It doesn't matter if I was in Kentucky or she was in Jersey whenever we talked it has always been as if we saw each other yesterday. Christina is the ying to my yang and the best friend that anyone could literally ask for. We have seen each other through so much and I truly believe the reason why our bond is so strong is because God placed her in my life for a reason. I couldn't imagine not having her by my side on one of the best days of my life. From jumping out of your closet asking why you are eating french fries to getting married lol. It's Lit.
Toun and I met in church. At first glance Toun and I are complete opposites. I can count on one hand the times i've gone to hug Toun and she DIDN'T respond "gross" lol.Toun is my friend who keeps me grounded. We've prayed in the mornings together and read devotionals in the evening. And she is the one friend I can count on to pleasantly remind me that I am indeed not perfect. Basically what i'm saying is that Toun and I are hosting the after move at the dragon lol
Zaneta, my Spec, my sister. We met on our church's dance team when (yes im bringing it up) everyone was mean to me lmao. Our friendship blossomed from dancing but continued to remain even after we retired the spin into the half split. We have always been there to support each other and she was one face I was always excited to see on my trips home from Kentucky. One thing about Zaneta is that she is always going to speak her mind. All I need to hear is "Fisayo.........*pause*" and I know what time it is lol . I know she will always have my back, except for if some reason we are running down Bourbon street
Candace is the definition of a literal Day 1. We became inseparable in high school and she has been close to me ever since. When I think of laughing until my stomach hurts? Laughing until I'm falling over? It's Candace. Candace is a light. She is such a joy to be around and brings positive energy to wherever she is.
Dr Dawn Clarke and I met freshman year of college through the Tops program at Towson. Dawn is the friend that makes you want to step your game up and pushes you to your fullest potential. We have been blessed enough to see each other crush the goals we set when we were 18. Dawn is not only my bestie, she's my line sister, my "retired" stroll partner, and the person most likely to be thinking the exact same thing as me at the exact same time.
