Kyle and Matt were lucky (or unlucky) enough to be paired as roommates Matt's first year at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. It took a minute to become the best of friends. Matt knew nobody in Nashville when moving there and Kyle vanished from campus, leaving Matt to fend for himself the very first weekend of college together. One week later, Kyle took the heat from their RA who busted the fridge for having Red Stripe and Smirnoff's on a dry campus (they later found out the RA kept the drinks for himself - jerk).
Since then, they've been best of friends. They've traveled all over, been to 10+ Dave Matthews concerts, won thousands at casinos, lost hundreds on horse bets, become masters at cheese eggs and Ortega tacos, know every word to Cute Without the E, and won't ever let the other win in any game or competition whatsoever without a fight. Matt even convinced Kyle's lovely wife to move both of them to Houston for the past four years (thanks Kate)!
We'll let you decide who had the Red Stripe and who had the Smirnoff.
When Matt and Earl decided to go the non-traditional route for their union, they both had Bobby in mind to fulfill the important role of the officiant. Apart from the obvious dapper looks (just look at that dimple), the couple thinks of him as the cool, lovable, and fun older brother they wish they had. His enduring love for his wife and dedication to his family are an inspiration to the couple. Matt and Earl are in good hands and will forever be thankful to the one and only Bobby G!
