Located in southern Italy, the sun-drenched region of Puglia makes up the heel of Italy's boot. Known best for its stunning coastline, cuisine, historical towns, trulli and farmhouses (Masseria).
With a long, varied history and influence from the Greeks, Moors and Turkish, combined with Italian culture and traditions, Puglia has a unique culture of its own. With so many things to see and do, there is something for everyone from authentic Italian dining experiences, some of Italy's top beaches, countryside landscapes, and historic towns to explore... Here is just a few towns we recommend visiting while in Puglia.
OSTUNI
Our wedding will be held in the beautiful town of Ostuni known as the white city (La Città Bianca) located in the Valle d'Itria.
Wander through the maze of lanes, filled with whitewashed houses and charming piazzas spread over a hilltop surrounded by countryside and endless olive groves. The incredible old town is made up of medieval architecture filled with excellent restaurants and cafes. Ostuni also boasts views of the Adriatic coast.
Masseria Grieco is a short distance from the town centre and can be accessed by car.
POLIGNANO A MARE
A stunning town, surrounded by crystal clear waters and sea caves and prettier than a postcard. Polignano a Mare is perched dramatically on the edge of the Adriatic coast of Puglia. The seaside town features a beach sheltered by two cliffs, and its centro storico – an atmospheric maze of winding streets, sun-bleached buildings, and old churches revealing glimpses of the sparkling blue sea at every turn.

ALBEROBELLO
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Alberobello is a must-see town when in Puglia. Unique to the region, this town is a maze of hilly cobblestone paths lined with charming conical-roofed trulli.
