Our love story started within a love story. Our best friend’s wedding to be exact. We had hung out once or twice before and really had a liking towards one another, but the timing was not quite right to be together, that is of course until June 2019.
As a bridesmaid and groomsman, we walked down the aisle together (strategic planning by the Mr. and Mrs. of course). I caught the bouquet, he caught the pearls. I had a crush on him, he had a crush on me. We danced all night, we took pictures in the photo booth, and pretty much were by one another’s side all weekend.
It was that can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars over the fence, world series kind of love and that love grows stronger and stronger every single day.
We made it official on the Fourth of July 2019 - who wouldn’t fall in love on a beach, with a private fireworks show? After 6 months of long distance from LA to Dallas and too many red-eye flights to count, we could not do it anymore...the grueling traveling every weekend that is. Not physically being in the same city was too much on our hearts.
We now both call Dallas our forever home. This year has been crazy to say the least, but we wake up grateful every single day that we are in this together. A golden doodle named Dezzi, an engagement, a move to the suburbs... and here we are planning our wedding.
We are best friends. We are soul mates, hands down no questions asked. Out motto.. we don’t go 50/50 we go 100/100. We cannot wait to be husband and wife and celebrate our love story with our family and friends.
Time to walk down the aisle… again.
