Friday - Wedding Ceremony and Reception
- Catch the bus to and from the Wedding from the Lorne Pub
OR
-Drive to the Wedding and (if required) catch the bus back to Lorne Pub. You can then catch the bus back to the property on Saturday for the Recovery Day and retrieve you car.
Saturday - Wedding Recovery and Afterparty
- Drive to the property Saturday, set up camp and stay the night
- Catch the bus to and from the Recovery from the Lorne Pub
- We understand if you can not make the 2nd day, just let us know for catering.
CEREMONY AND RECEPTION
The Ceremony will start at 3:30pm proceeded by the Reception straight after at the same location for plenty of drinks, food trucks to help yourself and music into the night.
DRESS CODE
Please dress in cocktail attire to the wedding, keeping in mind that the wedding will be held outdoors on a farm. It can also get quite chilly in Lorne at night, so remember to bring a jacket!
CHILDREN
We understand that the wedding location is quite far away for some people and getting a baby sitter may not be possible! If this is the case, please feel free to bring your kids along and let Matt or Emily know so we can cater for them.
THE AFTER PARTY
Saturday the 19th, will be our 'Recovery Day Afterparty' held at the same property starting at 12:30pm.
We will be starting the day off beside the pool and out in the sun (hopefully), before heading down to where many of you already know as 'the Quarry'.
We plan on getting you all back together for an informal lunch and plenty of cocktails, to help dust off any cobwebs that may be lingering, before heading down to the Quarry.
This will be a big celebration with DJ's later in the night, therefore driving home wont be an option for many of you.
You are more than welcome to set up a tent in the top paddock and camp at the property for this night only, but just to be clear; not after the wedding on Friday.
Alternatively we will have the bus running once again to pick you up at 12:30pm from the Lorne Pub. More information regarding this can be found on the 'Getting There' page.
BYO
We will be providing a select range of beer, premix seltzers and a couple personal favourite cocktails on this day, however if you wish to drink something specific, or think that you will be in for the long haul late into the night, feel free to also bring your own.
DRESSCODE
Dress in your comfiest, most colorful party clothes to the Recovery Day Afterparty, again keeping in mind we will be outdoors all day and night. The walk from the pool/house to the Quarry is approx 500m up and down a steep hill so enclosed flat shoes are advisable.
CHILDREN
Again, we understand that the wedding location is quite far away for some people and getting a baby sitter may not be possible! However, please keep in mind there is a steep up hill walk from the quarry to the carpark as well as quite loud music playing, which may not be child friendly.
