As many of you know, we met seven years ago at Wake Forest University thanks to a mutual friend and a frat party...isn’t that how all great love stories start? Elise was about to graduate and Nashville-bound, while Danny still had two years of school left in Winston-Salem. After a few months, he officially asked her to be his girlfriend “just for the rest of the school year”. Fate had other plans, however.
Determined to make it work, they spent the next four years driving between Nashville and Winston-Salem (and eventually, Charlotte) before Elise made the decision to move back to North Carolina where our relationship only grew stronger. Fast forward to June 2021, Danny made a secret trip to Scottsdale where Elise’s sister, Abby’s, Bachelorette Party was taking place. After the festivities had ended, Elise and Abby met up with their parents for a Father’s Day dinner at the Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain, where Danny was waiting to propose at the very spot where we’ll be getting married in 2022!
In seven years, we’ve built quite the life together along with our pup, Salem, and we’re excited to celebrate this next chapter with you.
